Amplifying the Energetics of Touch
Most of us who have studied massage therapy have had our minds opened to the incredible world of energy healing such as Reiki, Healing Touch, and Polarity Therapy. These subtle therapies each connect with the life force energy, or chi, within us all. As energetic beings, we resonate at a measurable frequency of 62-68 MHz. When our frequency drops due to poor lifestyle choices, we tend to become more susceptible to disease, illness, and fatigue. Thus, maintaining a healthy energy or “chi” is critical to optimal health for us and our clients.
Other than applying specific energy modalities, we can help raise our clients’ energetic frequencies during traditional massage by adding therapeutic grade essential oils to our sessions. Rose essential oil, for example, ranks in as the highest frequency oil at 320 Mhz. Other more common oils work great as well – diffusing Peppermint oil (78MHz) in the treatment room can open the sinuses and encourage clarity, while applying Lavender Angustafolia (118MHz) to the crown, hands, feet, and spine can bring balance and harmony to both you and your client.
Essential oils created with the intention and quality standards of being utilized as medicine (aka Therapeutic Grade essential oils, which, unfortunately, make up only 2% of the essential oils available in the United States) have the highest, most coherent measured electromagnetic frequencies of any natural substance and are capable of raising a low frequency as well as effectively maintaining a healthy frequency. Also, applying or diffusing spiritual oils such as Frankincense or Sandalwood during Reiki or Healing Touch can be an amazing way to compliment and amplify the therapeutic effects of the treatment and help bring your client to a more profound state of balance. I encourage you to learn more from an Internationally Certified Aromatherapist, or invest time and energy into studying the powerful effects of energetic essential oils!

Hi Beth, Thanks for checking out my article! My partner and I are both New York State LMTs as well as Internationally Certified Aromatherapists. We chose to use Young Living Therapeutic Grade Essential Oils after having quite a few poor experiences with essential oil companies that claimed to be therapeutic. The reality is, because essential oils in our country fall into the “cosmetics” category, only 5% of the actual oil needs to be in the bottle for the company to deem it “therapeutic” or “100% pure”.Young Living is the world leader in therapeutic-grade essential oils and they farm over 5,000 acres of their own herbs. We have actually traveled to the Mona, Utah farm and saw the fields, the distillation process, the lab testing, and the bottling. The company goes beyond organic in it’s farming and treats the oils as medicine from seed to seal. Also, Beth Israel Medical Center in NYC chose Young Living’s oils over any other brand due to their amazing therapeutic properties. These are a few of the reasons why we chose to use Young Living oils in our practice and in our aromatherapy business. I invite you to contact me directly for more information.Best, Alina Piccone, LMT, CHC, ICA

Do you have any suggestions for reliable companies to get therapeutic grade essential oils from?
Excellent article. Great info on the importance of only using therapeutic grade oils. Most people really don’t understand that you get what you pay for, and the majority of the essential oils on the market today are not therapeutic, and often even toxic. I trust only doTERRA essential oils because of their absolute dedication to quality, and therapeutic value. doTERRA’s oil
are Certified Pure, Therapeutic Grade and every liter is thoroughly and
extensively tested to make sure it contains the right constituents and
the right levels of these constituents. They contain no synthetics, fillers, chemicals, etc. They are very particular about
the sourcing and timing of harvest, and the distillation
methods to ensure that the constituents are the correct levels for best therapeutic value. For these reasons, I am confident in using these oils topically, aromatically, and yes – even internally. I post regular material on my blog about using therapeutic oils http://www.doterrasandiego.com
